My Students
Each class session, students gather in their groups and grab their kits, working on their current robotics project. Students check-in with the teachers about their progress and what they are currently troubleshooting.
Our school is a socioeconomically and ethnically diverse inquiry-based public high school in New York City.
Our students learn by asking questions, discussing, experimenting and researching. Students transfer into our high school seeking small classrooms and a positive learning environment.
My Project
We received Lego Mindstorm kits earlier this year through the generous donations of other Donors Choose members. However, we came to realize that these kits don't contain all of the sensors. With these materials, we will be able to supplement our Robotics classroom experience by allowing students to fully explore their creative ideas and receive the full Lego Mindstorm experience.
Thanks to your donations, students will be able to envision their designs and learn additional aspects of programming.
In addition, we will be able to organize and preserve our materials for future generations of students.
