Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Supporting students with dyslexia and other learning differences requires thoughtful resources that address their unique learning needs. The materials I am requesting, including multi-sensory tools and hands-on learning supplies, will provide essential support for these students. By incorporating items that align with their strengths, these resources will make a meaningful difference in their academic growth. Multisensory tools engage multiple senses, allowing students to connect with letters, sounds, and words through touch, movement, and visual cues. Together, these materials will create a learning environment that empowers students to succeed.
The primary goal of this project is to establish a well-equipped intervention classroom that meets the needs of students who struggle with traditional learning methods.
By providing these resources, I aim to deliver targeted instruction that supports growth in reading fluency, phonics, and overall literacy skills. My hope is to create a space where students feel encouraged to take risks, celebrate their progress, and develop a love for learning. With the right tools in place, I believe these students can unlock their potential and gain the skills they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
What makes my students truly special is their remarkable resilience and determination. Despite the challenges they face, they consistently demonstrate courage and creativity in their learning journey. These students possess a strong willingness to work hard, even when tasks feel difficult. Their unique perspectives, problem-solving skills, and ability to think outside the box make them stand out. By investing in tools designed to support their individual needs, we can nurture their strengths and help them achieve their academic goals.
