My Project

My 4th graders are naturally curious. They ask questions, seek answers, and are eager to explore new ideas and concepts. They are developing a sense of independence. They are more self-reliant and capable of taking ownership of their learning. My students have a genuine enthusiasm for learning, and their energy and excitement can be infectious in the classroom. In our classroom we are working on social skills, learning how to cooperate, communicate, and collaborate with peers effectively.

Elementary education serves as the foundation upon which a child's future learning and career aspirations are built.

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of introducing engineering concepts and principles at the elementary level. Teaching engineering to elementary students is not only about preparing the next generation of engineers but also about nurturing crucial skills and fostering a mindset that is essential for success in an increasingly complex and technology-driven world.

Teaching engineering to elementary students is a vital educational initiative with far-reaching benefits. It fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a growth mindset. Moreover, it helps break down gender barriers in STEM fields and prepares young learners for a future where technology and innovation are paramount. By investing in engineering education at the elementary level, we empower the next generation to not only meet the challenges of tomorrow but also to shape a brighter and more innovative future for us all.
