it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, we are committed to supporting the academic and social-emotional development of our K-5 students. To enhance their learning experience, we are seeking donations for three critical resources: the Lakeshore Classic Birch Tabletop Writing Center, Lakeshore Grab & Write Social-Emotional Prompts, and Lakeshore Draw & Write Journals. The Lakeshore Classic Birch Tabletop Writing Center will provide a dedicated, organized space where students can practice writing, drawing, and brainstorming. This versatile tool will allow students to focus on literacy development in a well-structured environment, with ample storage to keep materials organized and accessible for individual or small-group lessons. The Lakeshore Grab & Write Social-Emotional Prompts will help students explore their emotions and develop essential social skills, such as empathy, emotional regulation, and effective communication. Integrating social-emotional learning into daily activities will enable students to strengthen self-awareness and relationship-building skills, which are foundational for both academic success and personal well-being. The Lakeshore Draw & Write Journals will encourage students to combine creativity with writing practice. By allowing students to express themselves through both drawing and writing, these journals will make literacy learning more engaging and enjoyable, while fostering creative thinking and reflection. These resources are designed to address the diverse needs of our students, ensuring that each child has the tools they need to succeed. Unfortunately, our current budget cannot cover these materials, but with your generous donation, we can provide our students with the equipment necessary to thrive academically and socially. Your support will make a lasting impact on their learning journey, and we are deeply grateful for your contribution.
