My Project
Teachers in my school have been through a training to understand the science of reading. Now we need materials to use in our school to help implement this new learning. Research has shown that these hands on materials will enable students to learn and make them better readers.
Teachers will be able to use these materials in small groups with the students who need interventions.
Phonemic Awareness is one of the foundational skills in reading and many of our students need to build up these skills. These materials and centers will play a pivotal role in tailoring instruction to meet the diverse needs of my students. With the flexibility they offer, I can increase engagement and differentiate the learning styles of my students.
This ensures that each student receive personalized materials, fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment. Additionally, the hands-on centers will empower my students to take ownership of their learning and I will be able to adapt teaching strategies, accommodating different learning styles and preferences, ultimately enhancing the overall educational experience for every student in my classroom.
