Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Education is not just about textbooks and lectures. It’s about innovation, engagement, and adapting to the evolving needs of students in a dynamic world. As a dedicated elementary teacher, my mission is to provide high-quality education using tools that foster creativity, critical thinking, and technological literacy. However, achieving this requires access to reliable, advanced technology that many public schools lack. I would specifically benefit from a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop.
With the Microsoft Surface Pro, students will benefit from personalized learning activities, multimedia content, and collaborative digital projects that enhance creativity and technological fluency.
Moreover, I will be able to design and deliver interactive, student centered lessons that promote engagement and deeper understanding.
For example, during a science unit on ecosystems, students will explore virtual field trips, annotate diagrams, and create digital posters to demonstrate their understanding of food chains and habitats. In math, they’ll engage with interactive visual models and adaptive games that support differentiated instruction. These experiences will help students build essential 21st century skills while making learning more meaningful and fun.
The Surface Pro will also allow me to efficiently manage classroom resources, track student progress, and provide timely feedback ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
