Empowering Education: Black History and Active Play Project
Help me give my students Black History Month books to learn about important historical figures, 2 footballs to encourage physical activity, and other recess supplies to enhance their playtime and overall school experience.

My Project
The Black History Month books will provide my students with crucial knowledge about influential figures and events, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures. For example, we will read about leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks, followed by discussions and projects that allow students to express their thoughts and learnings creatively. This will not only improve their reading and comprehension skills but also instill a sense of pride and respect for different backgrounds.
The footballs and recess supplies will encourage physical activity, teamwork, and social skills during playtime.
We plan to organize structured games and activities that promote cooperation and healthy competition. These sessions will help students develop essential social skills, such as communication and conflict resolution, while also ensuring they stay active and healthy. My goals for this project are to enrich their educational experience, promote inclusivity, and support their physical development.
My students are special because they are eager learners with diverse backgrounds, and they deserve resources that will help them grow both academically and personally. By providing these materials, we can create a more engaging and supportive learning environment that caters to their varied interests and needs.
