This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to support my students' diverse and resilient natures. They come from various backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom, which enriches our learning environment. I strive to create a supportive and motivating space where every student can thrive.
The resources I've requested will support the growth of English language learners and students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms.
The Sharpie markers and Post-it easel pads will make lessons more interactive and visually engaging during small group instruction. The Verb Flash Cards and Phonics Words Flashcards are tailored to help my English language learners build vocabulary and improve communication skills. The Teacher's Big Book of Graphic Organizers will provide essential scaffolding for students with disabilities, making complex ideas more accessible. The scented pencils and treats will be fun and motivating rewards for hard work, while the Galaxy Putty Slime will offer a calming activity to help students manage stress and focus better. Finally, the PURELL sanitizer and envelopes ensure a healthy, well-organized classroom environment. These resources will help create a more inclusive, supportive, and engaging space for my students to learn and grow.
