Empowering Creativity and Financial Literacy Through Graphic Design

Help me give my students the tools to learn financial literacy through graphic design.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Woodral's classroom raised $590

This project is fully funded

My Project

At our school’s Graphic Design Club, students are passionate about creativity and entrepreneurship. We are requesting a tumbler press, sublimation blanks, and sublimation ink to support our vision of merging design with practical skills, including financial literacy. With these resources, students will learn to create custom products, such as tumblers, mugs, and apparel, using sublimation technology.

The addition of sublimation equipment will allow students to see their digital designs come to life on physical products.

This hands-on experience will not only strengthen their design skills but also teach them about product creation, marketing, and sales strategies. We plan to use this equipment to launch small-scale fundraising projects where students can sell their creations, learning about pricing, profit margins, and reinvestment in materials—key financial literacy concepts. All earnings from the fundraisers will go to replenish supplies, purchase new equipment, or support other clubs

Through these projects, students will gain experience in running a business, developing budgets, managing costs, and understanding how to generate and sustain profits. By applying creative skills in real-world contexts, they will build a foundation for future entrepreneurial endeavors and financial independence.

Your support will help provide the tools needed to inspire our students to explore both design and entrepreneurship, preparing them for a successful future. Thank you for considering our request to empower students through art and financial education.
