We are reaching out to you today with a powerful initiative aimed at fostering positive change in our local middle school. Our campaign revolves around the novel "Dress Coded" by Carrie Firestone, a thought-provoking exploration of the inequities embedded in school dress codes and the incredible impact that a determined group of middle schoolers can have when they unite for a common cause.
Dress codes have long been a source of controversy, disproportionately affecting students based on gender, race, and socio-economic background.
