it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Happy 2024. I am currently planning an elective class that is centered around youth empowerment through the exploration of our history. The story of the Black Panther Party is powerful and can impact our students in meaningful ways especially as we highlight the fact that the Black Panther Party was founded in CA- the city where most of our students were born.
It is important that our Black students know the history of their city and ancestors.
Knowledge is power and it is essential that we equip our growing population with meaningful content.
