Empowering All Learners: Tech and Tools for Our Inclusion Classroom

Help me give my students iPads, a charging station, a mobile dry erase easel, and a standing teacher desk to support instruction for second-grade special education students in both inclusion and pull-out settings.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of second-grade students who receive special education services. They are creative, enthusiastic, and full of potential. Many of my students spend part of their day in the general education classroom and part of it receiving small-group or one-on-one support.

Each child learns in their own unique way, and they all benefit from lessons and materials that are visual, interactive, and tailored to their needs.

They work hard to master foundational skills, improve their communication, and build confidence in their abilities. What I love most is their resilience—they keep trying, even when learning is hard, and they find joy in every success.

This project will bring essential tools into our classroom to help deliver high-quality instruction across learning environments. Whether I’m teaching in the general education classroom or during pull-out services, these items will help make learning more accessible, flexible, and engaging. These tools will help my students grow both academically and socially. Most importantly, they will help each child feel capable, confident, and included in every lesson.
