This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Out school community is a small, close-knit neighborhood with deep roots and proud traditions. Our school holds the special distinction of being an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) institution. As part of this rigorous and globally recognized program, all 10th-grade students must complete a Personal Project. This culminating experience demonstrates their ability to apply research, design, and critical thinking skills.

However, our school lacks a design lab, leaving students without the necessary tools to meet the high expectations of 21st-century learning.

To level the playing field and allow our students to compete globally, we need your help to create a modern design space.

Students are eager to explore podcasting, artificial intelligence, graphic design, digital media, and content creation to bring their Personal Projects to life. With access to the right equipment and technology, they can design compelling, innovative projects that showcase their creativity, knowledge, and skills—meeting not just the standards of the IBMYP but also future demands.
