My Project
I am requesting a laptop to support my professional development as I work to realign the 6th and 7th grade math curriculum with state standards. Throughout the school year, I have noticed significant learning gaps in my students. Many are struggling to master foundational skills, which impacts their ability to engage with grade-level content. I want to help them bridge these gaps by redesigning my lessons with intentionality, ensuring each unit and activity is purposeful, standards-based, and aligned with the skills students need to succeed.
This summer, I am dedicating time to revise my curriculum, analyze state assessment frameworks, and research evidence-based teaching strategies.
However, without a laptop, I am limited in my ability to access digital tools, high-quality instructional resources, and planning platforms that are essential to this work. A laptop will allow me to create more effective, data-driven lesson plans that are tailored to the specific needs of my students.
