Empowered Teens Create: Cricut Art in the Library

Help me give my students the Cricut supplies they need to create meaningful and engaging projects through the use of our Cricut machine.

My Project

We are an engaged, innovative high school library that loves providing new experiences and opportunities for our students to create, explore, and grow their skills with various workshops and activities.

I want to help my students learn design skills and have the opportunities to create vinyl stickers, mugs, shirts, and other projects with our Cricut machine.

We have a Cricut machine that we have been able to use for simple projects and beginner ideas. However, due to the amount of other supplies that are needed for more expansive projects, we have been unable to expand our Cricut usage to its full potential.

At our high school, we promote opportunities for students to learn new skills and explore their potential using real-world applications and technology. The library especially has created workshops for students to explore crafts, activities, job opportunities, and other creative and entrepreneurial projects.

Since we are a Title I school, it can be difficult to get supplies for library workshops as other subjects take priority. This project will focus on re-supplying our Cricut with vinyl, heat press material, a portable cart for our Cricut machine, and other tools to optimize our Cricut machine and help create a full, rounded creative workshop for our students.
