Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am incredibly proud of my students. They are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn about the world around them. Countless times, I share a newstory with them and they are blown away. We love watching CNN10 student news and getting exposed to new information. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives make our classroom a vibrant and dynamic place to learn.

By donating current events magazines, you will provide my students with access to up-to-date information on important global and local issues.

These magazine subscriptions will develop their critical thinking by reading about challenging issues. My students will become more informed and active citizens, learning how to become more active in their communities. Reading the articles will expose students to new vocabulary and build their reading skills. The wide range of topics will inspire students and give them access to places beyond our classroom.

Your generous support will make a difference in my students' education and broaden their horizons. Thank you for considering a donation to our classroom! When we're finished reading and using the articles, all the magazines will be recycled for our Bill of Rights Collage project!
