This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By providing bilingual Spanish picture books, I hope to create a more inclusive and enriching learning environment for my students. These books will not only enhance their literacy skills in both English and Spanish but also foster a love for reading that transcends language barriers. My goal is to cultivate cultural awareness and empathy, helping students connect with diverse perspectives and stories.
My students are eager to learn and explore new ideas as multilingual learners.
Having access to these books will empower them to embrace their identities while developing confidence in their language abilities.
