My Project

Providing students with hygiene and feminine hygiene products is crucial for their well-being and academic success. Access to these essentials boosts confidence, allowing students to focus on learning rather than worrying about personal discomfort or potential embarrassment. It reduces absenteeism, particularly for female students who might miss school due to lack of menstrual products. Ultimately, ensuring students feel clean and prepared fosters a more inclusive and supportive school environment, empowering them to participate fully, build positive social connections, and achieve their full potential. This support is a fundamental investment in their dignity and future.

Students will be able to walk into the classroom and help themselves to the feminine hygiene and hygiene products.

Hand sanitizer prevents illness, keeping students healthy and in school. Pads ensure comfort and dignity, preventing missed classes for menstruating students. Kleenex offers immediate relief for allergies or colds, maintaining focus. Deodorant wipes provide quick freshness, boosting confidence. Lotion addresses dry skin, enhancing overall comfort. These essentials foster a healthy, confident, and focused learning environment.

Students in Brownsville, NY, often face significant economic hardship, with high poverty rates impacting their access to basic necessities.
