My Project
I want my students to be 21st century ready.
Technology is growing by leaps and bounds and we need to keep up with the new technology updates our world encounters daily.
We've been struggling with our old MacBook Air, from files being deleted to trying to connect and waiting for long periods of time for files or the internet to open. New technology can help me transform traditional learning into interactive and engaging experiences for my students. This will help my students stay focused, motivated, and improve their understanding of complex concepts.
A MacBook Air would allow me to provide instruction in many different ways. I can teach by using programs like Google Slides and share my reading slides with students. I can also create project based learning activities or model using Scratch Jr. and share them with students through their Schoology page. These are just a few examples of things I can do, the ideas are endless. In a world where everything is digital, teachers need the tools to reach our students at their level, digitally and online. Providing them with this type of technology could allow them to access the curriculum at school, home, or anywhere else in the world.
By using the MacBook in my classroom, students can gain valuable skills and knowledge that will be valuable in their future careers.
