Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm reaching out because I believe in the power of education and the impact it can have on our students' lives.

I'm seeking your support to provide our students with access to the treasure trove of knowledge found in Upfront Magazine by Scholastic, both in print and digital formats.

Why Upfront Magazine Matters: 1. Upfront Magazine offers our students a unique window to the world's current events. Its articles cover a wide range of topics, from politics and science to social issues. This exposure helps our students broaden their perspectives and engage with the world in a meaningful way. 2. With Upfront Magazine, our students can develop their critical thinking skills by analyzing and discussing current events. It encourages them to ask questions, form their own opinions, and become informed decision-makers, skills they'll carry with them throughout their lives. 3. Reading articles from Upfront Magazine not only keeps our students informed but also improves their reading and comprehension abilities. The engaging content makes reading a pleasure, which, in turn, enhances their overall literacy skills.

Why We Need Your Help: Sadly, I'm unable to afford the subscription on my own. Our school budget is tight, and it's a constant struggle to provide additional educational resources, especially in today's challenging economic climate.

Your Impact: Your generous contribution will directly empower our students. By supporting this project, you'll provide them with access to a world of knowledge, fostering their curiosity and helping them become informed, engaged citizens.
