My Project

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are on a mission to empower underestimated children in marginalized communities of color with the financial skills they need to break the cycle of poverty.

Through fun, engaging programs like the Stock Market Game and the Young Entrepreneurs Showcase, our students learn to invest, launch businesses, and build financial confidence early.

Our students — primarily 4th and 5th graders in Oakland, California — are outperforming students from wealthier backgrounds, winning six consecutive Stock Market Game championships in the San Francisco/Bay Area division! But for many, our program is their only access to financial education — and that's not right.

In Oakland, only 20% of Black and Latinx students read proficiently, and math scores are even lower. Yet research shows financial literacy can boost academic success by 10–20% — and more importantly, it builds lifelong skills for economic empowerment.

Our students have proven that financial knowledge is the great equalizer. Now we need your help to expand our reach and impact. Together, we can give every child the tools they deserve for a brighter, more equitable future.
