Empower Future Artist: Donate to Digital Art at WOHS

Help me give my students iPad 10th generation with iPad pencils to help facilitate and start the digital art course. We will primarily use procreate and procreate dreams to introduce students to drawing and painting digitally.

My Project

Hello there,

My name is Bryce Trevayne Davis.

I am a high school art teacher for a high school in a sub-city west of Orlando. Currently, I am teaching Drawing I, Drawing II, and AP art history. I am also currently taking on and bringing a Digital Art: Imaging and Animation course to West Orange for the first time due to student interest. While the demand is surely there, the funding/budget from my school for base equipment to get started is not.

I was originally expecting 30 students for the course but it doubled to 60, with potentially more on the way. I, too, much like the students, am very excited for the course and the opportunities it could bring to my students to have a high-level animation/digital art course considering the type of industry that exists in our backyard of Orlando.

Since learning that I would have the course at the beginning of the fourth quarter, I have been in talks with Procreate and Apple in order to make this course successful. However, these connections are taking longer than expected and school is, of course, well upon us.

I am seeking 10 iPad 10th generations along with apple pencils to start my course with. If I can get this course started by providing these gifted students with the supplies they need to learn the basics of digital art imaging and animation, I would be able to expand and grow exponentially the following year. Any donations, proceeds, and/or sponsorships would be highly appreciated and would go directly to the classroom and to the students.
