My Project
My main goal is to create a classroom that supports the diverse learning needs of my students. My second-grade scholars are curious, hardworking, and resilient. They come to school eager to learn, despite the challenges many of them face outside the classroom. Each of them brings unique strengths and perspectives, making our classroom a vibrant and dynamic learning community. By providing them with tools that encourage independence, I’m helping them grow into confident learners who take pride in their achievements. They deserve a space that reflects their enthusiasm and potential—a space where they can thrive academically and personally.
Ultimately, I want my scholars to feel empowered and equipped to reach their full potential, both academically and socially.
The headphones will allow my scholars to stay focused during individualized learning sessions by reducing distractions and ensuring they can fully engage with their digital lessons. Lap desks will provide a flexible and comfortable space for students to learn, whether they’re working on the floor, in a small group, or during independent reading time. These items will not only enhance focus and engagement but also empower my students to make choices about their learning environment. By fostering autonomy, they’ll develop the confidence to take charge of their education and discover the methods that work best for them.
