This project will help build a classroom library filled with carefully selected books that foster social-emotional learning.

Each story is a mirror or window—helping students see themselves and understand others. Through read-alouds, guided discussions, and reflection activities, students will develop empathy, resilience, and relationship skills that will benefit them both in and outside the classroom.

The Impact:

With these books, students will not only improve their reading skills but also grow their emotional vocabulary, empathy, and ability to work through challenges. SEL is not just a “bonus”—it's essential to academic and personal success. Your support will help make my classroom a safe, supportive, and socially intelligent learning community.
