This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the most amazing pleasure of working with some of the best kids in the world! I am a very proud Lancer, graduating class of 2009! It was so important for me to come back to my community and work with our youth. We serve a high number of low-income families that would really benefit from any support we give.
There are currently more than 3,000 students in our high school, which can cause funds to be extremely limited.
With your support (if possible), I would be able to provide a comfy, safe, happy, and open space for our kiddos to excel in. Social-emotional learning is critical for our kids today and with your help, I am hoping that we can bridge some of those gaps with these social-emotional learning tools, games, and affirmations.
