Emotional Recharge Station

Help me give my students a designated place in the classroom to regulate their emotions, practice mindfulness, and refocus. These fidget items and books will support students in managing stress, building emotional awareness, and returning to learning ready and focused.

My Project

I love the innocence of my 3rd grade students because they approach each day with wonder, curiosity, and a genuine love for learning. Their resilience inspires me daily, as they bounce back from challenges with determination and a positive spirit. Each day, I strive to make a lasting impact on their lives.

A classroom chill-down zone promotes learning by giving students a safe space to regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and regain focus without disrupting the class.

When students feel emotionally supported and calm, they are better able to concentrate, participate, and retain information.

My goals for this project are as follows:

1. To provide a safe and calming space where students can self-regulate their emotions and reduce stress.

2. To encourage the development of healthy coping strategies and emotional awareness.

3. To support positive behavior and help students return to learning with focus and readiness.
