This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A happy brain is a learning brain. Many of my students have a lot of trauma. I need tools to help them with emotional health. The happier they are the better they can learn and retain information. I want my students to be emotionally healthy enough to learn.

The stories these children tell me makes me cry on breaks.

They have endured intense trauma. They have seen things I can't imagine. They need help with their emotions in order to thrive.

Please help my students with healing so they can reach their potential. They are smart and sweet children who need tools for emotional regulation and growth. Any emotional wellness they accomplish now will help them for the rest of their lives. Thank you in advance.
