Emotional Health is Necessary to Learn New Skills!

Help me give my students the tools needed for success. My project includes saucer chairs and items to keep our class healthy, physically and emotionally. Many of my students deal with emotional trauma and easily become dysregulated.

My Project

My students are all bright and full of potential. Physical health and emotional health are important pieces of a successful education. Their anxiety and attentional issues often interfere with their learning and completing the task at hand. They need to regulate their body and minds so that they are better able to focus and stay on task.

These comfy saucer chairs are for our quiet area.

The chairs will support and increase students' ability to self-regulate and increase their ability to attend to classroom demands. Coloring is one of the calming activities that the students also choose to do. The cleaning supplies will help to keep everyone physically healthy.

This project will help the students in my classroom regulate, if needed, so that they can be successful in their education.
