Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how each of my students brings their own unique strengths, perspectives, and creativity to the classroom. They are full of potential, and while some may face challenges in processing emotions or sensory input, they have an incredible capacity to grow and thrive when given the right tools.
Each resource I’m requesting—whether it’s sensory tools, calming kits, or materials to help with emotional expression—will help my students build a stronger foundation for learning.
These fidget toys would not only make the classroom more inclusive and supportive but also create an environment where students can freely explore their emotions while staying engaged and focused.
These resources not only support their emotional growth, but they also encourage a sense of safety and belonging, so my students can confidently tackle learning and face challenges head-on.
