Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When first starting school, preschool children have a huge variety of changes and emotions. Many children can struggle with these changes and new emotions. It's necessary to foster the development of social emotional learning.
Emphasis on social emotional learning can enable children to thrive academically, mentally and physically.
I plan to use these materials to play games, for student visuals and enhance social emotional learning.
Preschool students acquire a strong foundation of emotional skills which helps students feel confident with building relationships, expressing their needs and wants and have motivation to learn.
