it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I’m requesting will significantly enhance my students' learning by providing diverse, interactive tools to explore and articulate their emotions. For instance, air clay and mood journals will allow them to identify and express their feelings in a structured yet creative way, while mindfulness activities can teach them techniques to manage and understand their emotional states better. My primary goal for this project is to create a supportive environment where students can freely explore their emotional landscape, fostering greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence. What makes my students special is their unique blend of creativity and sensitivity; they are eager to engage deeply with their emotions but often need guidance and resources to fully articulate and understand them. By integrating these tools into their learning experience, I aim to empower them with the skills and confidence to navigate their emotional journeys effectively.
