Emergency Planning for Teachers

Help me give my students supplies that will benefit them when we have substitute teachers on our classroom.

My Project

My co-worker and I are planning to host a professional workshop for our fellow teachers in the entire district. Our goal is to create emergency binders so that teachers will be prepared when an emergency arises. This will help the students continue a rigorous learning environment while their core teacher is absent.

We never know when we are going to be sick, or if one of our family members is going to require us to be with them, but with our assistance, we will show our teachers how they can be prepared ahead of time so their students will still have impactful learning experiences.

Students will benefit greatly if there is an organized learning program in place so they may continue to learn while their routine is interrupted. Having an emergency "toolkit" is a necessary tool for successful learning activities.

No matter the grade or the subject, we will help our family of teachers and students to be prepared for those emergencies so they won't have to worry about school when the time arises.
