This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how curious, creative, and eager my students are to learn. Each one brings a unique perspective to the classroom, and I’m constantly amazed by their ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and think critically. They thrive in environments where they have the freedom to explore and express their ideas.
The resources I’ve chosen for this project will provide my students with a variety of ways to engage with the material, fostering both independence and collaboration.
Flexible seating, for instance, will allow them to choose where they work best, whether that’s in a cozy corner, at a standing desk, or on the floor. This autonomy helps them focus better and encourages a deeper sense of ownership over their learning.
The other resources, like interactive learning tools, will help them grasp concepts in dynamic and hands-on ways. They can work at their own pace, collaborate with classmates, and tap into their creativity, which ultimately supports their individual learning styles. I’m excited to see how these tools empower my students to take charge of their learning and grow both academically and personally!
