My Project

Dear Supporters,

I'm excited to share how the resources listed below will provide invaluable hands-on learning experiences to help my neurodivergent students identify and express different emotions.

Many of our students find it challenging to articulate their feelings. With your support, we aim to enhance their understanding and communication through engaging visual aids and interactive activities. These tools will guide our students in recognizing and expressing happiness, sadness, sickness, and fear, fostering their emotional literacy.

Also, calming strips will be available for students at their desks or in mainstream classrooms. These strips are excellent tools for managing feelings of anxiety, boredom, or the need to fidget, offering comfort without disruption. Bouncing straps attached to chairs will allow students to expend energy quietly, helping them stay focused and calm.

We will also equip a dedicated calm-down corner with various sensory items, ensuring students have a safe space to access these tools whenever they feel overwhelmed.

Thank you for helping us create a supportive and understanding environment where our students can thrive emotionally and academically.
