Elmo Will Light Up Our Lives!

My students need an ELMO Visual Presenter.

This project is fully funded

An Elmo Digital Visual projector is so essential to help bring my curriculum to life in class. An Elmo would especially benefit this classroom which is made up of young students with attention, visually impaired and auditory processing needs. With an Elmo I will be able to provide my students with large and active visuals. When I am reading and discussing a story, they will be able to see the pages on the large screen of my Smart Board. I would be able to model tracking each word on the page with my finger. This works to keep my students attention, allows for teaching print concepts, or for students to read along, as well as increasing their vocabulary. With an Elmo, I would be able to model my math lessons by showing both or either the worksheets and manipulative's that are use. This modeling is invaluable to our students, who need visual cues and directions. The Elmo would allow students to share their writing and show their work to each other, as we often do in class for peer modeling. This is especially important for these students to be able to practice verbal language and presentations. They will be so excited when they can see and present their work while it is seen by the class on the Smart Board projector.
