This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to continue learning! They love to participate in engaging projects that stimulate their brain and also helps them think outside the box when they encounter something out of the ordinary! However, due to COVID-19 things will be a little different for us this year. We will begin the school year with remote learning.
Even though this is a new learning experience, my students are up for the challenge!
My kiddos strive in doing their best! Our school is located in the South side of Chicago, where 91% of our students come from a low-income household. All students deserve a quality education no matter the circumstances!
My Project
Having a document camera will help me provide my students with real-time instruction during our virtual class meetings and also while preparing instructional videos. A document camera will also allow my students to follow along and take notes in their notebooks during our lessons. This document camera will help alleviate some of the issues we dealt with last school year during remote learning.
By donating to our project, you will help keep some normalcy in our daily lessons, as this was a tool we used regularly in the classroom and also support the learning of all my students!
I plan to use this tool to teach every content area and provide fun and purposeful lessons for my students!
