This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My PreK -5th grade English language learners have different learning modalities. They learn through games, hands on activities and visuals. They are very creative. Manynof them are level 1-2 and some are Newcomers. When doing hands on activities my Ells without realizing it begin using the target vocabulary, and in general participating more in their general education class. Their 4 domains: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing improves. The goal is to empower them so that feel the language is not a barrier. In addition the materials I'm requesting will support with their Social Emotional Learning.
