This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having students with special needs and accommodations makes sitting in a chair hard to do at times. Students want and need to move. The flex seating options of stools, floor pillows with lap tables along with yoga balls will help the students get the wobbles out and stay more focused. The boardgames I have added is to be used as a reward system for when students need the extra encouragement.
This project will allow my students to have a choice in their seating options, work harder knowing they have options to look forward to and help improve their learning by giving them options.
