Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting 5 Teachers-Pay-Teachers gift cards to be able to purchase author studies units that will directly tie into daily read aloud, second grade author studies, and social and emotional learning. Using these units helps students dive deeper into the literature and build strategies for close reading that lead to writing.
In addition, the Teacher-Pay-Teacher gift cards will be used to purchase units that will lead students into in depth analysis of authors' work through the integration of projects that will incorporate art and writing.
I will also be using these Teacher-Pay-Teacher gift cards to purchase supplemental math units to use for students that are early finishers as well as for those that need additional support.
