Elevate the Energy: A Lift for BHT Cheer Team!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The BHT Cheer Team is made up of amazing young ladies who work hard both in the classroom and on the court. Many come from low-income households, and not having basic items like cheer shoes, shorts, socks, water bottles, makeup bags, hair ties, and bows makes it harder for them to feel confident and prepared.

With these essentials, the team can focus on improving their skills, performing their best, and representing our school with pride.

Having the right gear will also help them build teamwork, leadership, and discipline, skills they can use in school and beyond.

Our goal is to give these scholar-athletes the tools they need to succeed in cheerleading and academics. These items will help them feel proud of themselves and their team while also showing their commitment to excellence. They are role models at our school, demonstrating what it means to work hard and support others.

What makes our cheerleaders special is the close relationships they have with each other, their coaches, and their teachers. At BHT, we believe “BHT relationships really matter,” and this team shows that every day. They’re more than teammates, they’re like family, cheering each other on in everything they do.

By supporting this project, you’re helping these incredible young ladies grow as leaders, students, and ambassadors of school spirit.
