Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Music Club has become a creative home where students build confidence and musicianship. While we have great practice equipment, we need a dedicated stage setup to ensure our performances sound as full and powerful as our rehearsals. The Orange Amplifiers Crush Pro 4x12 Guitar Cabinet will help us fill our 496-seat auditorium with rich, warm tone, giving students a professional performance experience. Right now, we rehearse in a classroom, but with the right equipment, we could occasionally practice on stage, helping students adjust to a larger space and boosting their excitement for performances.
Before Music Club, our school’s events didn’t feature live student musical performances.
Now, music is a highlight, and each performance is getting stronger. We meet four days a week, and students have already performed at three school-wide shows. The auditorium is shared with two other schools and Aspira, our after-school program, and I work closely with the theatre director to coordinate stage use. With secure storage in place, this cabinet may benefit not just Music Club, but also other students in our community.
