My Project

Our weight room at Horizon Science Academy is coming to life, but we’re still missing key equipment to help our students reach their full athletic potential. One essential addition is plyometric boxes—versatile tools for improving strength, speed, and agility. These boxes will allow our students to engage in dynamic workouts that build explosive power, coordination, and endurance.

Plyometric boxes will transform workouts by incorporating jump training, step-ups, and other high-intensity exercises into our physical education program.

They’ll be used to teach students about proper form, injury prevention, and goal setting while improving cardiovascular health and muscle development. These activities not only enhance athletic performance but also boost confidence and teamwork, helping students excel both in sports and in life.

My goals for this project are to create a well-rounded training space that supports strength, agility, and endurance development, introduce students to innovative, fun, and challenging fitness routines, provide training opportunities that complement sports teams and extracurricular activities, and encourage healthy lifestyles and instill lifelong fitness habits.
