This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are in need of some independent reading books on their reading level.
My students missed a full nine weeks of their second grade career, which has put them behind in their reading ability; we are in serious need of some reading books that are on their reading level.
These books will allow students to practice the reading skills that we are learning and practicing in class. Having books that are accessible to students is a priority in our classroom. The more that students are able to practice reading books that are on their level, the quicker they will be able to move up reading levels.
