My Project
This school is a 100% Title 1 campus. The campus make-up is majority African American, Hispanic, and Native American. Our students primarily come from economically disadvantaged households. This year my classroom is a 2nd grade class. Many of my incoming students are coming in reading below grade level. My goal this year is to decrease their learning gaps and have all students meet grade level expectations. The items requested in my project will allow me to offer all of my students the opportunity to actively participate in learning activities regardless of their family's ability to provide school supplies.
