My Students
Our school has about 240 students who study from 3K to fifth grade. Most of them are African American and Hispanic children. Most of them come from low-income families.
They are nice and respectful when they interact with other people.
They smile at people when they meet people in the morning. Some of them are struggling in math and English, but they work very hard to overcome the challenges. It is my pleasure to be their teacher in the school this year.
My Project
Due to the limited school budget in technology, my school can't afford a new printer for a self-contained classroom. The classroom has an old printer, and it doesn't work anymore. The teacher needs a new printer so that he can print classwork and homework for the students. Some special needs students read large font texts on paper only. Many students complete their class projects, such as PowerPoint slides, posters, and book reports. They want to print their class projects on paper to show their projects to their parents. Please help my special-needs students to get a new printer to support their learning during this challenging time. Thank you.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
