Our elementary music room is full of eager hands ready to make music, but we need more instruments to bring that excitement to life! I'm requesting essential classroom percussion instruments like sandblocks, guiros, claves, maracas, castanets, and tuning forks to help my students explore rhythm, sound, and culture through hands-on learning.
These tools may be small, but they make a big impact.
With these instruments, students will develop coordination, listening skills, and musical creativity. Many of the items we currently use are worn out or incomplete. These new additions will allow every child to participate fully in music-making activities, from steady beat games in Kindergarten to ensemble work in 5th grade.
