Elementary Anatomy

Help me give my students hands on models of a brain and heart because a 3D version is always better than a teacher’s attempt at drawing!

My Project

We’re starting a human body and anatomy unit soon. My fourth and fifth graders will love these body parts! I tried to make home made drawings and charts when I’m trying to explain a new concept. But I’m not a great artist. Having a 3-D brain and a 3-D heart for them to handle and examine will really bring the concepts to life for them. Having lifelike x-rays to show them will also be very helpful when discussing the skeletal system. I also added some fun building manipulatives for the little kids. Having them follow the design and engineering process will prepare them for future stem classes.
