My Project
As a music teacher with an interest in electronic music, I'm determined to incorporate as many STEM activities in my music instruction as possible. I want my students learning about the physics of sound through the exploration and joyful play with fun software synthesizers and MIDI controllers.
I think music instruction can be more than the acquisition of technical skill on an instrument.
Children can understand the physical properties of an instrument while expressing themselves using cutting edge music technology. Even seemingly simple musical toys can be powerful instructional tools in the classroom.
