My Students
Building race cars out of balsa wood, electric circuits and batteries? Great stuff! Our classroom needs the science materials to make this project a reality!
Our school is 40% Latino, 15% African-American, 15% White and an amazing mix of other backgrounds and cultures.
Many of our students are English Language Learners. In my classroom over half of the students are English Language Learners, and over 75% are eligible for free and reduced lunch.
My Project
Access to these materials to build electromagnetic robot cars will make a huge difference in the deep learning and understanding that is inherent in a Project Based Learning classroom. The struggle at our school is not the expertise of teaching and learning, but the resources to make these happen!
