Electric Orchestra

Help me give my students our complete electric orchestra experience. We have instruments and amps but need pedals and pre-amps to enhance our peformances for the community.

My Project

Today's students are surrounded by technology and electric instruments are just one way to help them express themselves. We already have the instruments and amps, but these new tools will allow us to program music and perform authentic electric style music for our community.

Through the use of technology and electric instruments, we can expose our students to a greater variety of music genres.

The team work, creative expression and increased skill application of electric instruments enhances all aspects of their musical and academic education. "Classical" and pedagogical music that is composed for young musicians is an absolute necessity for any growing musician. However, there is an abundance of music out there today that most orchestra students are not exposed to.students need to have opportunities to explore this variety of music. Incorporating popular music into the curriculum in a variety of ways results in higher retention rates, better recruitment and a much higher level of success on our "Classical" music. The students are excited about music and now practice more!

With the emergence of performing artists such as Lindsey Stirling, Piano Guys, 2Cellos, Vitamin String Quartet-.the market for string musicians in contemporary music is booming. I can't wait for our students to be part of a new and thriving music style.
